Front passgenger wheel/brake noise. Please help!
About a week ago when I was driving my car (2003 Civic EX cpe - 80k mi) around I heard a faint screeching/scratching sound coming from the front tires. At first I thought it was my brake pads, but what's confusing me is that whenever I apply the break, no matter how hard or soft, the sound stops.
Also, after I've been driving for about 10 minutes or so, the sound eventually goes away, probably from heat or applying pressure with the brakes. Before I take it in I was wondering if anyone could point me in a direction as to other possibilities. My tires are wearing down (4/32" tread depth), and I don't know the condition of the wheel bearings. Could these be why?
Thanks for your help.

So your saying a squeak, thats comes front the passenger side front wheel is the pads. My cars has a annoying squeak that is there during acceleration and now is heard even while driving on the parkway.

Re: (Ross 2.0)
Really? Even though I'm not applying the brakes when it happens? First time I ever had this type of noise. At first it wasn't that bad, but I must have just focused on it, so I always hear it. I'll have to check out how much pad is left and how the rotor looks. Just don't want ot to be something more serious. Thanks
