Default Front end wheel/engine bay whine

I have a 2008 Accord Sedan with 190k miles on it. I've recently started to notice a whine that increases in pitch. It occurs in the vicinity of the front passenger wheel, and goes up in pitch 1) loudly whenever I'm make a left turn and mildly accellerating, 2) minor(ly?) when I'm making right turns. The sound seems to disappear whenever I reach 30-40mph, though I can't tell if the sound goes away, or road noise is masking it. I know the brakes are about half gone, so I don't suspect those. At last check (roughly six months ago), the bearings were fine, but I haven't been out to check those yet, so that might be the cause. Due to the increase in pitch though, might it not be the bearings?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

I had a very similar problem/sound. Have you checked the power steering reservoir? There's also a very common o-ring replacement that is supposed to solve the issue!
