Fixing carpeting under foot-rest
Looking for advice wrt possibility to fix damaged carpet under foot-rest. It was not a good idea to go with cheap 3rd party floor mats and after 7 years car exterior is still in good shape but this obviously doesn't look good

Get some OEM (like) floormats to cover it up. Just make sure it covers up that area.
It's not worth replacing the carpet on an "old car."
