Engine shutting off after I changed the air filter

Engine shutting off after I changed the air filter
I have a 2006 Honda Accord V4.
I purchased a new engine air filter. After I unscrewed the air filter bolts I had to apply some force to pull up/out the plastic filter container. I replaced the air filter without any issue.
Almost immediately after I cranked the engine and put it into drive it "studdered" then shutoff. I started the engine again and put the car into drive and accelerated. Whenever the car is in Park or I am driving there is no issue.
I have only had this problem one time before, after I took my car into Honda for an oil change, I had the same problem, when I looked under the hood a hose was not connected (forgot which hose). But once reconnected that resolved the issue.
I have checked under the hood and have not noticed any disconnected hoses.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You may need to clean the MAF sensor?
That could be the problem, although I'm not completely sure.
I'd hit up the dealer if the car is under warranty.

triplefive,
Did you happen to check and see if the PCV valve tube clamp somehow came loose during the repair job? (For reference, it's ref# 4 in this Accord PCV diagram) I know from first hand experience that occasionally the dealer "technicians" can inadvertently loosen or break vital clamps and clips during their wrenching. This happened to me on my old '98 Accord
Check to see if this clamp is still on tight, then report back to base if you're still experiencing any issues

Re: Engine shutting off after I changed the air filter
The filter box lids are so hard to remove on these cars (I4 and V6) that you are bound to break something trying to force the lid around the fender flange. I noticed my air tube was split next to where it clamps to the throttle-body (the lower part toward the rear of the car). You all might want to check your air tubes. I'm planning to do some cutting on the fender flange, and the plastic piece that covers it. It might not look good, but it's better than damaging something trying to get to the air filter.
