Dumb question regarding exended warranty
I'm purchasing an Accord Hybrid from a private owner, the car looks great, rides great, and had it checked out and shows no problem or potential problems. Carfax and Autocheck show no issues with this car.
Regarding this question, he purchased a 100,000 mile extended warranty just in case. Since I'm buying this car, can that warranty transfer to me????? If not are there ways arround it???
Thanks everyone.

Re: Dumb question regarding exended warranty
yes i think the warranty can be transfered to another owner, the best thing to do is call the warranty company and ask , there for the warranty can be tranfered into ur name....doesnt hurt to check , G/L

Re: Dumb question regarding exended warranty
Just spoke with the owner, he says it its transferable (as per the written on the contract). All I have to do is take the contract in the dealership with all maintenance records and $50.00 transfer fee. All this has to be done within 15 days of transfering vehicle.
Sounds like I'm good to go.

Re: Dumb question regarding exended warranty
I spoke with the dealersip of the warranty, they said if the contract states it is transferable then it's ok.
