I am borrowing a 2009 Honda Accord. How do I disable the annoying beep when I hit the remote key to lock the doors. Have googled this problem and none of the solutions work for this car. Any suggestions?

If you press the remote lock button one time to lock the doors, it should not beep. Pressing it twice within 5 seconds will cause the horn to sound a confirmation beep that it is locked and security system (if equipped) has set.
