Default defective mags!!!!!!

Hi!

I bought a 2009 Honda Accord last year. I stored my mag wheels for the winter months, I noticed the next spring that the coating was chipping off. I contacted the dealer and Honda Canada, and to my surprise I got the answer that they were not covering by the warranty ( and Honda was not aware of any problem with there mags). This is not acceptable and people should be aware of how Honda Canada deal with the customer after they buy there vehicle. I included pictures of my wheels.

I don't see why would ANY manufacturer cover anything they manufactured when it is considered a wear item? certainly I do not expect the rim to fail, but you have to expect them to exhibit some wear

I've had my coupe rims for 2 years already with ZERO unexpected coating issues.

not gonna lie, those look like rock chips, not the coating wearing off because of faulty application.

Its the road salt, it gets in behind small chips and corrodes the aluminum and the clear coat peels, its not just honda, toyota had terrible problems with tacoma and 4runner wheels about 10 years back, clip on weights nicked the clearcoat and then they started peeling and pitting.
