Default cylinder 3 misfire

Is there a sensor that can be unplugged to make the car not deactivate cylinders, since the misfire seems to be related to the deactivation?

I have found a place online that sells what they call a MaxLink that bypasses the displacement function so that it never shuts down two cylinders. I am going to give that a try since the problem seems to be from deactivation.
