Central lock issue- can ALWAYS unlock the doors, but LOCK button works intermittently

Central lock issue- can ALWAYS unlock the doors, but LOCK button works intermittently
Car details:
=========
Honda Accord 2004 LX
Mileage - 113K
Bought recently from a car dealer
I am ALWAYS able to unlock the doors using the driver or passenger side "unlock" button but the "lock" button doesn't work every time.
Form my observation I can say that it is more likely to work -
- after I have driven the car for sometime
- during hot weather conditions
Once it works, it continues to work for the next many hours.
I have even replaced the driver side power switch but even that hasnt fixed the problem..
Appreciate any help in isolating the real problem...

Did you get your car checked by the dealer.Do consult the dealer about this problem.He may be able to solve it.
