Car won't start
My wife used the car this morning no issues, now when i went to use it, it wouldn't start. Went to get gas, started it up, all I heard was a clicking noise, I had to pop the clutch. Another 30 minutes go by again, 1 crank then a clicking noise. Someone said it may the starter, is this true?
Thanks

Re: Car won't start
This happened to my accord when the battery was drained. If you left the keys in or lights on or anything like that, you might get one start out of it and then it won't start again. That one crank sounds like it had just a bit of juice in it. Try charging the battery... Other than that I'm out of ideas :p

That or corroded battery post, or loose connection on the solinoide, or a bad solinide.
My guess is battery is down. How old is the battery and are you in a hot climate? Batteries in the south are only good for 3-4 years.

Just looked at the old battery receipt, I bought it in July of 2010, is this normal length of a battery life? I mean i haven't suped the car up where it would need more juice, everything is stock.
Junk battery I suppose.

I've been told a battery should last upwards of 3 years (if I'm not mistaken, somewhere around 5?.. Could be wrong)... But there are things that can affect it such as if you've drained it in the past (I do that a shitload by leaving lights on and what not) or the climate you live in.

Take your old battery to a battery shop where they can put a load on it. They can tell you if it is the battery that failed or if you are having other issues with the charging system. They won't be able to pin point the issue with the charging system but it will give you a heads up that you do or don't have an issue.
I seem to get 4-6 years out of a battery fairly consistantly. 2 years is not unheard of. It could simply be the battery in your case.
