A/C issues '06 Accord
I have a 2006 Accord V6 EX w/navi So I have that giant radio/nav/heat and ac all in one control head.
AC has stopped working. Checked the refrigerant and it is full. Buddy says its the compressor, but not sure I trust his judgement. (He is a backyard mechanic if you will... not a professional)
I guess my question is, what are some things I can check to help narrow down what the issue is? Air blows fine, but when I hit A/C or Defrost the compressor never engages, and summer is approaching.

Do you have a volt meter? Simple thing to do would be pull the wire to the compressor and see if power is going to the ac compressor clutch?
Yes, no.....the first branch in the tree and sorry not much else I can advise on until we know that answer.
Oh, if you do want to go further with testing.....what is the engine size (4 or 6 cyl)?
