A/C help!
Hello,
First off I am not car smart. I am a girl who needs help trying to figure out why my car is blowing out hot air while the A/C is on it never cools down. I know someone who works on Hondas but I am would rather fix it myself then have him because I would owe him... I was thinking maybe it just needs more of the liquid cool stuff but I don't know. So if someone could please help me it would be great!
Thanks,
McKenzie

You could have the same problem I had, and the guy in this thread had (bad compressor clutch and coil/stator). Apply battery voltage to the compressor clutch/stator to confirm. Read this thread, and it will explain it to you. Good luck

Re: A/C help!
Hello all,
First, the vehicle:
2008 Accord EXL Coupe, 4 cyl. with dual electronic climate controls, NO NAV.
Now the issue:
Got in the car today, and the driver side vents blew hot air, while the passenger side blows cold. Changed the temp from high to low, and all that junk, nothing changed...
Checked freon level, was full, checked fuses, all good.
Looked through forums and found how to do the on-board diagnostics, and came up with "segment C" being illuminated on the drivers side temperature area. Couldn't find anywhere as to what this refers to. Any and all help is appreciated!
