Auto Start Disabled ALL Power (Batt and fuses Are OK)
Need help, Im not the best with relays and all that but I started my car with my auto start (compuSTAR) and as the engine was starting I inserted my key into the whole. As SOON as it was the whole way in the gauges flicked, and power was completely gone, battery is still good. Battery fuse is still good. I have juice going to the fuse box from the battery.
Is there a Relay hidden somewhere between the fuse box and inside. I found the auto start box and hit the reset button on it and nothing. I'm thinking its just a "theft disabler" safety feature and I just don't know how to reset it. Like I said be there is no power at all. Its as if the battery isn't in the car.
Thanks....

Re: Auto Start Disabled ALL Power (Batt and fuses Are OK)
So after getting fustrated yesterday after 5 hours a gave up. I decided to go back out one last time and try a few things. The VERY LAST thing i decided to do was take all the fuses and relays out and put them back in. Well, like i said b4 all the fuses were good. I put them all back in. The LAST one i put in was the ABS 40a fuse. Tall square and blueish, you can see if its blown by looking directly down at it. Well power was restored. Not sure why that happened. I didnt buy any fuses or anything. Just thought I'd post what happened incase anyone else needs advice on this.
