for a 08? you need a special insertion tool, some dealerships may allow you to BORROW this unit instead of buying it

If it's the 07(or older) in your avatar, there is no special tool from Honda, you'll need to buy one. If anybody at the dealer has one they bought it.
If you do have an 08 A "riv nut" tool should be available at a parts store.

just put one in an 04 and the hole saw is just to cut the trunk liner so that there is a big enough hole to have the tie downs for the net to attach to. Personally I used a utility knife. Other than that it's pretty straight forward.

Cool. So do I need to drill under the liner at all? Just looking at the instructions confused me a bit. I havent gone out to do the install yet, just would like to know what tools I may need.

And yeah, this if for an 07 Sedan.

Yes you will be drilling a total of 4 holes into the trunk sheet metal through the trunk liner. Having them be in the exact locations is not all that important you can be off by a couple MM and still be OK. Just be close to where the instructions tell you. The net is elastic so even if the self tapping hooks aren't exacly lined up it will still work.

One step I would skip is taking off the trunk weather strippping, you don't need to take it off to do the job. I started to and thought better of it, figured it's better to leave it alone.

</TD></TR></TABLE> Alright. So I do need a hole saw to cut the sheet metal then. Is this what you used to cut?

The hole saw is JUST for the trunk liner. You are going to drill tiny holes in the sheet metal for the self tapping hooks to screw into. The hole saw is just for the trunk liner (i.e. the fuzzy carpet like stuff with the plastic backing). And you don't need the hole saw, actually when I put it in my mom's car I didn't even cut a hole in the trunk liner. She's supposed to be over later to drop off some food (gotta love mom's) I'll go out and snap a pic for ya.
