Would it really make that big of a difference? I've heard that short ram intake is better.

Installation requires more tools than you think.

Before you start your install, the V2 is a CAI and rests right above the black plastic under the front driver side bumper.

Tools:
1) You don't need a jack but it'll be a bit easier
2) flat head screwdriver (thinner the better)
3) electrical tape
4) phillips screwdriver
5) socket wrench
6) socket wrench extension about 1 foot.
7) #8, and #10 socket
8) code to the stereo system as the battery will have to be removed
9) clean oil pan to re-use coolant
10) lots of paper towels
11) Paper and pen to mark the bolts and screws.

Start off by putting electrical tape on the head of the screwdriver to prevent scratching the car.

Open the hood and start by removing the bumper. There's a screw on the corner of the bumper that's attached at the wheel well. Crawl under the car and remove the 1 snap bolt and 2 screw bolts on the bottom passenger and river side corner of the bumper. Remove the 4 snap bolts on the bottom of the front of the bumper. Open the hood and remove all the snap bolts and screw holding the black plastic that sits on top of the bumper. Now pull the bumper out as it's all held in by clips.

Next remove the battery and the tray under the battery.

Now drain about 1 gallon from the radiator. The plug can be twisted by hand. It's plastic and is directly on the back bottom of the radiator. You should see a hole aiming down. The screw bolt is behind that.

The stock intake is in many pieces and is held on by rubber tubes. Pull them apart to get all the pieces out. There's one that requires you to go behind the radiator and remove the bolt holding the L bracket that holds last piece in.

Once everything is out, follow the directions to replace coolant hose and the intake vaccume hose. Once all that is done, then you can install the intake. Follow their directions for the install and make sure to re-clamp everything back down.

Follow their directions on removing the air sensor to the AEM intake.

Now just re-install everything and remember to punch in the code for the stereo.
