Accord 2005 radio issue

Hey all, so I've got an Accord 2005 LX and I installed an after-market aux cord into it a couple years ago. I've never had problems with the radio itself, but just the other day I was driving and randomly my radio input cycled from FM1 to AM, then CD, then FM2.. It was incredibly weird, and for a little bit it wouldn't respond to me pressing the buttons to change it back to FM. After this, it did this once, maybe twice more.

The next day, I get in my car and start it up and no audio will play from the radio. None of the buttons respond to me pressing them - the only thing that works is switching from FM to CD (it won't play anything off the CD, either). I can't even change from FM to AM, let alone use any of the presets or the tuners themselves. I tried restarting the car a few times, turning on and off the radio many times, all sorts of buttons in hopes of some sort of reset... Nothing.

So, does anyone know WHY my radio randomly stopped working? I'm praying it's only a fuse, because I really don't want to drop the $ on a new radio. Also, the only thing that was different from any other day was that it had rained the day it initially messed up. I thought it were possible that some liquid shorted a circuit or something, but I'm not too knowledgeable with cars and wouldn't know how to check.

Any info would be wonderful - Thanks!

Re: Accord 2005 radio issue

Check the wires, especially the ground. If those are good then the radio is probably bad.
