Acceleration without foot on gas: 2010 Honda Accord
Please Help. On flat ground when I turn the car on and put the car in drive and DO NOT press on the gas pedal the car moves at 4 mph continuously. If I turn the wheel I accelerate to 5-6mph. If I am going up a hill it goes 2 mph until I get to the top and then resumes to 4. When at a light with my foot FIRMLY on the break I feel like I'm holding this baby back from taking off. I called service and they said this is normal. I realize a car does move a little without pressing on the accelerator but I feel like the car is moving too much on its own. Is this normal behavior???

This is idling. The engine needs to maintain a certain amount of revolutions or it will cut out. If it's in drive, these revolutions will just be a slow creep. Cars have been doing this for decades. Speeds vary based on design.

Completely normal. Think of it this way, an automatic car has a clutch too. If RPM/throttle is not applied the car will stall.
EVERY auto. car will do this.
EVERY auto. car will do this.
