AC help
I have a 2003 accord and the AC stopped working.
Nothing turns on it is just dead. I have checked the fuses and changed the resistor still nothing. When I run a wire from the battery to the fan everything works when I turn the ac on. With the wire running from the battery I can control the fan speed. What else could it be?

Re: AC help
The system might be low on refrigerant and needs recharging. If you have access to a manifold gauge set, you can check out your high and low pressures to see if your system is within range.
However, the a/c fan should turn on when you hit the A/C button. It might be an electrical issue elsewhere besides the resistor and fuses.
