2016 Accord Sport wheel question..
I don't own one of these and Ive been out of the loop on modifying any car for a while (this includes changing wheels)... I know its a complete noob question but I saw the '16 Accord Sport comes with 19" wheels now. I'm contemplating ditching my VW GTI at the end of the year and this is one vehicle I wouldn't mind having. However, concerning the wheels... I know its possible to change wheels (duh), but are there issues with going to a 17" or 18" wheel? Im not even sure what size tires are fitted to the 19s but I can only imagine how much those cost... Never mind hitting potholes on the crap roads here in Atlanta.

Re: 2016 Accord Sport wheel question..
- Yes, 19s do cost more, just because there are less 19" cars vs cars that run on 20s. It was a few years ago, and I imagine it still be true.
- You can always go to smaller wheels. No issues. However, just to share info. There are some issues with OEM Honda wheels for the Accord Sports pre-2016. The Honda wheels are made by Enkei - Japan. Honda switched suppliers later during the 9th Gen and some Enkei wheels have Made in China stamped on the back. Some owners noticed the wheels cracking. The wheels look exactly the same. So if you are looking for "smaller" OEM Honda Sport wheels, don't just look for Enkei. Look for "Japan."
- Considering the 2016 is a MMC on the 9th gen and the wheels are now 19". I would imagine (guess) the suspension would have to be tuned "softer." So when switching to taller profile tires, I would imagine the overall feel would be on the softer side.
