2010 Honda Accord grinding noise starting
Hello everyone,
Usually in the morning, I hear a grinding noise when starting my Accord. It's only for a split second. I have actually turned the vehicle off and turned it on right away and there is no noise, just that initial start up.
Any thoughts or opinions? I've read a few posts online that state it may be the starter. Is this something I have to get repaired asap?
My Accord has about 79k miles on it right now.
Thank you everyone.

I called the Honda dealerships, they stated the same thing about the VTC actuator and that there is no fix for it right now. He told me not to worry about it.
So it won't cause any future issues?

I would have it replaced. If you have any warranty left on the car the dealership might work with you on the cost. If not I'd call a few shops who work on Honda's and get some quotes.
