So what do you think?
Is this a car we want, or is Honda answering a question
that nobody asked?
280 HP J Motor, old reliable five speed auto.
VTM4.
You thought the TL nose was ugly? :-)

another car on the market with an abnormally high ***-end that doesn't allow people who buy it to see out of the rear view mirror so when you're in a parking lot they back into your car.

In just about every car forum on the net, people say how much they dislike the Camry. Yet they sell close to half a million each year. Don't believe what people tell you on the Internet. Much like Obama, they LIE.

Re: 2010 Accord Crosstour (BIG Pictures)
So that's the Accord Crosstour, not what I was expecting. I had seen the spy shots, but without paying too much attention I had thought they were of the Acura ZDX, and that people were mistaking it for the Crosstour.
Being a Honda product, 4wd, available in a 5 speed it caters to a lot of people but what exactly is it? It's a wagon, but will people really catch on to that? Isn't the wagon/crossover market pretty saturated.
As far as the styling, I caught on to it right away that it's Honda's new design direction. The Insight, Crosstour, CR-Z, ZDX all have the sloping rear "fastback" styling, even the lower rear window is common between them. This is much like The new style Acura grill that people tend to love/hate.

The weird Honda and Acura noses that are coming out have to do with a standard for pedestrian safety that goes beyond government recommendations, and the need to provide an aerodynamic efficiency.
I understand why they feel they have to do it, but it certainly produces some controversial designs.

I like it(crosstour) and I would drive it... You know Honda has never really been at the stylish forefront on new releases, but the body designs seems to mature with age.
As for market niche, I can see it. I do think it might scavenge from the CRV market but his design seems to be slightly more upscale than the CRV.
I am just bummed out that the Coupe didnt have a shawd/awd option

Nothing a 2" drop could not fix.
I hope this car will fail so Honda will have to give it away when I walk in the dealership for a 4 cylinder EX-L. Looking for $5-6K off MSRP.

I personally think it's a bad idea to skimp on AWD, but of course I understand why they did it.
I like it a lot. I'd probably buy one used.
