2010 Accord Coupe Body Work... *grumble, grumble*...
So. I'll start this by saying don't attempt to play bumper cars with Uhauls.. hah... /facepalm
Anyway, Has anyone attempted to fix their own bumper on the '10 Accord? I'm trying to avoid having my insurance premiums skyrocket by looking into doing the work myself, but figured I'd see if any of us have yet to try to order the actual part from somewhere yet... trying to see if it's worth the grunt work and time spent trying to get the bumper.
I'm open to suggestions, Shelly's nose needs fixin lol.

I'd suggest taking it to a reputable body shop and asking them to fix it. They'll take care of the rest. Just tell them you'll be paying for it yourself - not your insurance.
The bumper cover itself lists over $365 and good paint work isn't cheap, so expect a sizeable bill.

Oi. Looks like i'll be working some overtime for this snafu I got myself into... Originally, I was also told to just go to a body shop... but I was hoping against reality that there was a cheaper way lol. Anyway, thanks for the advice! Can't wait to take off the zip-ties and wiring holding the old one in place haha

you can try and save a little bit by buying online for your parts, eg the front bumper cover is about $200 without shipping, which may kill the deal for you. But I agree with traga, you need to use a reputable shop for paint and prep. I had a similar issue with my 8th gen front bumper. I was pulling my car off a trailer and the underside of the bumper got hooked on something and as I backed off it ripped the bumper off turning it into a pretzel. thankfully I was able to get it back on the car with little visual issues save for a couple underside crinkles, but I do need to replace it at sometime to get it perfect.

As others have said when it come to bumpers, plastic/rubber parts you need good auto body shop as the process for prepping/priming is not so straight forward compared to metal and needs to be done right or paint will peel in short amount of time .
