well it matters, how much do u drive in a day, is work far away,
far away- 30 miles to 45
short- 20 35 etc.
Do you drive alot? will this be ur only car ?
when u take long drives manuals suck.
I have 2 cars, so thats why i got a manual....
ask ur self ...

#1 - 6spd Manual is only available for the Coupe
#2 - Cylinder De-Activation feature is only available on the AT, where the engine cuts down either 2 or 3 cylinders during light cruising, so the AT gets better gas mileage all things equal
#3 - While the peak torque/power numbers are the same, Honda USA says that that torque is more readily available through the power band with the 6spd Manual vs the AT, i.e., all things equal should accelerate slightly faster, not to mention you can probably launch better with the 6spd Manual, though thats just a guess

Its not a guess... both car and driver and motortrend have clocked substantial performance for the manual v6

Zero to 60 mph: 5.6 sec
Zero to 100 mph: 13.6 sec
Zero to 130 mph: 26.6 sec
Street start, 5–60 mph: 5.9 sec
Standing ¼-mile: 14.2 sec @ 102 mph
Top speed (governor limited): 130 mph

i compared the AT V6 Coupe to the MT V6 Coupe when i made my comments, not the Accord to the TL... as of now ive yet to see a performance review of the AT V6 Coupe so theres no way to substantiate the MT it will accelerate faster besides educated intuition...
interesting numbers from Car & Driver, marginally faster then Motor Trend which i believe did a 0-60 @ 5.9, and 1/4 mile @ 14.5 around 99mph+
that MT link you posted is for the Sedan and the times are (est) which means they didnt run the car

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...
have anything to offer? or just are we supposed to be intuitive as to your three aughts... overly obvious observation. Deduction is key here, as there IS NO comparison, and in fact, a comparison is really not worthy of discussion. if you want ease of driving, get an auto, if you want control during driving, get a manual... IF YOU CAN FIND ONE.

re-read the thread... what have you contributed to the 6spd MT vs the AT discussion besides posting a MT article & performance specs compared to a TL... might want to stay on topic & avoid thread drifts, though i can see already from my short time on this board this is very tough for you
the MT is difficult to find but not impossible (Diamond Bar Honda)... this car has been there for almost 3 weeks now
