Default 2008 accord

Hey guys, i was driving my car and when sunlight hit my speedometer there is a huge scuff mark on the left side where my rpm gauge is. I just got the car a month ago and i went back to the dealer and told them the problem they said you just noticed it now, maybe when i cleaned the interior i must of hit it or something. but I didnt so they arent going to replace it. iam outta luck here. I know i didnt do it cause i didnt even clean the inside yet its still spot less. Is there a way that I can do this myself. Iam not that great of a auto guy but i do brakes oil changes and suspension parts alternators wires and plugs on my families 5th 6th and 7th gen accords. but i dont like doing electrical things. I see that i can buy the part Its cheap only like 20 bucks. Has anyone done this before? Thanks for your help guys

I have never had the need to take out the speedO on my 08... I can only imagine it is a long drawn out time consuming process, but simple none the less. get a manual if you are going to do this... it always helps specifically if your a do it yourself type of person.

Personally I think I would just leave it for later or learn to live with it if I were you
