2006 Honda Accord V6 - Spark Plugs
My car isn't running too good and the mechanic I took it to recommends I change the spark plugs. He is quoting me $370 to change the plugs and for an oil change.
He says if this doesn't work I should think about changing the coil.
Also, about 5 months ago I had the power steering pump replaced. I am now having a hard time steering, especially backing up. He is saying I need to replace the rack and pinion (sp) and the inline filter and probably the pump again.
Does all of this sound right?!

Re: 2006 Honda Accord V6 - Spark Plugs
You can do the plugs with $20 in hand tools and an hour of your time. $370 is borderline obscene for plugs and an oil change, unless you're talking Canadian dollars or something? You also have 6 coil packs, not one coil. Follow the service schedule, and 99% of your problems will disappear. Page 3 in the below link.
