2006 Accord Wipers Hitting
Hello all,
I was hoping to get some advice here. The wipers on my 06 Accord are traveling too far and thumping hard into the cowling and driver side A frame. When attempting to remove the driver side arm (started to rain, didn't get a chance to finish), after removing the nut I noticed the entire arm could rotate around the bolt, not moving the passenger side arm. The arm could also be pressed down against the car, rocking on the bolt. I can't tell if something in the arm is stripped, the motor is bad, or the linkage is bad, or some combination of the three.
I do remember once over the winter the wipers got left on when I parked over night, and got buried in snow. I turned the engine on to get the heat going, and I noticed the wipers were trying to move, but were stuck in the down position. Maybe this damaged something?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a bunch!
