2006 accord obd2 access port

wassup guys? my buddie has a 2006 accord lx and his maint light came on so i was going to read his code for him. but i dont know where the access port is in his car. if you guys could help me out then im sure he would appreciate it. thx

maint light = no code

check engine light = code

I believe that 06 accords are CAN Network based

so how do you check codes on the car, and is there a way to reset the maint light? thx

Only codes for the CEL light. Use search for the main't light.

does that mean that some odb2 scanners will not work on a CAN based system?
