2006 Accord Brake replacement

Hi Guru's
My rear Brake pads are almost worn out. dealer checked to say 1.3MM life left on rear Left pad. dealer also said The front rotors are warped as i can feel the vibration in high way driving. The fron rotors were re surfaced 3 years ago and put in semi metallic pads. so thought of replacing all 4 rotors now
question is which is better- Ceramic or semi metallic? I live in Phoenix, AZ. use the car mostly city-60% of time and 40 % highway.
I am looking to buy the Nakamura rotors and Brake replacement kit. its about $120 for the ceramic kit and 135 for the semi metallic kit....is this a good after market replacement?
need your advice and thanks in advance for the replies

OEM 7th Gen. Accord Brakes definitely aren't the best

are you planning on doing it yourself? taking it to a shop? or dealer?

there are only a few things i don't like to ever DIY, Brakes being one of them but if you got the skill, could save you a lot

also, i am going Acura RL Big Brake Kit and if you need stopping power that's suppose to be tremendous vs. oem, that may be another option

Re: 2006 Accord Brake replacement

Brake best and wearever ceramic to have had 3 yers from each. But the brake best for some reason keeps my rotor without making any striations on it. The wearever one thermal crack. Bot you can go to adavance or oreilly to get replacement pads for lifetime if they become defective. Break job takes time and definitely grease the caliper pins and bleed the air out of the caliper boots. on a Honda first time could be but i would do it to save 3000 dollars. just make sure you have a small c clamp and door strike to clamp and move the brake cylinder inside to place it back on the brakes. takes 4-6 6 hrs time including the time to resurface the brakes. the total cost 30 bucks for two rotor resurface and warranty brake replacement plus 3 dollars caliper grease and break grease.

the job would definitely cost 350 or above if brake best or dealership does the job.
