Icon2 2005 Honda Accord Lock Problem

Hi all,

I can't find any similar problem on the net, that is why I'm posting here!

1. locking the car works only with the key (all doors).
2. Window up and down works only with the key (all doors)
3. sitting inside push the door lock switch (all door locked except Driver)
4. Pushing pin down on driver door (only locks driver door)
5. Standing outside doors unlocked pushing remote to lock (all doors locked except Driver)

Could Somebody help me or give me some hints?

99% of the time its the actuator that goes bad unless you installed an alarm and messed with something that deals with the drivers door lock ciruict

Hi ekb16,

Just my feedback!
Thanks again for this hint.

Got a new Actuator from O'Reilly $25.99

Was a little difficult to remove, but it was worth it to post it here.

Dealership would charge me $249.00.

FYI: The dealer would charge you $28.46 for the part....Not $249 (I know you probably meant with labor, but it's not written that way)
So parts with probably 2 hours of labor (how long did it take you?) plus warranty on both for a year, meh, sounds good to me (if you have the funds of course)

Honda in San Antonio wants to charge me $194(labor plus part) to replace the driver door actuator on my 2004 Honda Accord V6...to me that high...I can use my Key for now.
