Greetings new user here. I need help fixing a friends car. Apparently before he bought this car 2.5 years ago someone pulled off the front fascia cover and reinstalled it. During the reinstall this person did not us all the fasteners. Basically the fascia was only held on with 4 plastic push/lock rivets 2 screws in the inner fender liner and one sheet metal screw below the radiator! Of course a few of the "hooks" were engaged as well. I have sourced all the fasteners needed to attach this fascia properly, but I am at a loss in one area....

Where the fascia tabs "snap" into the metal bumper reinforcement just below the front headlights there should be some "hooks" it looks like. It appears that some part is missing in this area on this car.

Should there be something attached to the reinforcement that the fascia then snaps into?? Again this is only just under the headlights that I am having trouble figuring out.

Any help appreciated. Thanks!


Not sure, but it appears part #10 in this diagram is what I am looking at. Should there be something attached to #10 that grabs the fascia tabs??

Well, Im pretty sure the tabs just slide in to place. If there not snapping in you might be able to flex or bend the bracket under the headlight out so the the bumper tabs sit in to place.
