2004 Accord Ex Radio Code
 

Hello,

I'm new to this forum (first post) and see some great info. I'm hoping someone can assist me with obtaining a radio code.

I was installing a speaker system a few days ago and I had disconnect the battery. Once I tried to use the radio, it asked for a code.

I bought the car through a private owner and the radio code is not in the glovebox or in the owner's manual.

I was able to get the unit serial number by pressing 1 and 6 when "code" was flashing on the radio. The code was U1237 L9384.

Does anyone work at a dealership or have other access to the Honda tools needed to obtain the radio code? I'd like to unlock the radio and record the code for future use.

nope...he works at honda. lmoa... thats the only way he would know that. in.honda.com is my "friend" too.

Mine too, but I know better than to give out radio codes online ;) especially in an open forum

This might help someone looking at this. I just found a sticker in the top of my trunk (near the top of the rear seats) with both the radio serial and 5 digit code. I had to replace my battery and was stuck with a dead radio.

2004 accord EX.

Sticker looks factory installed.

That sticker was not factory installed and that's a really uncommon place to put it. It gets put on at the dealership.
