So I noticed that over the years my 2004 Ex Accord has started trembling when stopped at a light, for example . More so with the A/C on.


I have used fuel injector cleaners before and haven't noticed any difference.

I have cleaned out the throttle body before. Wasn't too dirty.


What could cause this? I have changed out the Spark Plugs before and they looked great.

Check all engine mounts for cracks and leakage, particularly the rear mount.

have you checked your engine mounts or exhaust mount?? you might have a bad engine mount. as for the exhaust usually the mount for the a-pipe breaks

Wow, really? On a car that's only 5 years old? I work on all my cars, but for the mounts to go bad this early is a sign of inferior parts.

Was there ever an issue with the mounts on this generation of Accord?

There was a Honda TSB on the motor mounts, etc. for the 2004 Accord 4 cylinder causing engine vibration in gear, which is probably why it was already mentioned previously as a possible cause.
