2003 V-6, Replace P.S. Pressure Hose
The pressure hose on my Power Steering is leaking. What do I need to remove to access the fitting at the back of the engine on the rack I believe. Does anyone have the section from the service manual that would show in detail how to do this.

Re: 2003 V-6, Replace P.S. Pressure Hose
there are 2 10mm bolts that hold it on the subframe, one on the valve cover and 2 on the pump. Don't forget to disconnect the p/s pressure switch. It is a 14mm flange on the rack and pinion. You will have to disconnect the exhaust y pipe to access the 4 14mm bolts that hold the rear engine mount. After you remove the mount bolts you lift the engine to gain space to get the hose out from under the mount. Reverse to reinstall hose.
