2003 honda accord steering wheel radio controls
Hey Guys,
Recently, my non-lit radio controls on the steering wheel are not working all the time. Sometimes I will be able to skip a track, but not change the volume, or vice versa. Sometimes none of the two controls work at all. Maybe there's a connection issue when the air is damp? Any of you know how to fix this? Is it even possible to disassemble the actual buttons of those controls in order to clean the connections?
thanks

I don't think you can fix the air bag clock spring. Theres a Arrow that has to point straight up. On the face of cable reel so maybe you could realign it. Following the Honda Factory service maunal. But I haven't had much luck resetting it. So I replaced mine. But you could remove the remote button assemblies and test them With a DVOM and check to see if the resistance is in spec.

And yes a clock spring can be replaced. But i think it could be the Airbag cable reel. Or Audio cruise remote buttons and maybe the sub cable harness or even something as simple as a blown fuse.
