2003 Accord with V6 and manuel trans.
Problem started with engine stalling when either left or right turn signal is on or the flashers were turned on. Now the engine stalls when the brakes are applied. Any one else had this problem ? American Honda and the dealers that I have talked to say that they have never heard this complaint before . Any trouble shooting tips that anyone would share ?

Have you checked all your grounds, wiring, relays and fuses?

According to the "on Line" owners manual, fuse 13 under hood supplies power to the brake lights and horn. 10 amp. Is that a fuse or a circuit breaker ? Since turn signals also cause the engine to stall , I was going to start at the rear tail light assemblies and work forward. Finding out that my daughter was rear ended last winter, and that a local body shop did repairs at that time . Possibility of pinched/ or wiring that has rubbed the insolation off.

Car is up and going . Replaced the combination turn signal / head light /dimmer switch on the steering column. The one that came out appeared to have engine oil dripping out of it. While replacing that switch, I charged the battery at 2 amps.. The battery would not charge over 50 %. We also replaced the battery as the local parts store made 2 attempts to load test the battery and the battery would not test. Had a code 0685- stored.. ECM/pcm malfunction..I guess the combo switch was interrupting the power supply to ecm and causing engine to stall..
