Any warning lights? Does it just start right back up?

The dealership has a nifty tool that can let the technician observe PCM data the moments around a stall. This is of course it happens while the tech has it and the tech is smart enough to use it. Sounds like a bad connection or failing part. I've replaced main relays for this. Could be an ignition switch. Could be a bad connection from the battery to the fuse box. Could be so many things it's impossible to speculate without hoping to GUESS correctly. May have to bit the big one and pay the dealer to check it out.

Try to recall the exact conditions when the problem occured. Time of day, temperature, exact driving conditions ie. throttle position etc. It may help the technician and save you some cash.

my guess would be fuse box under the dash i think that there is a recall on the car about complaining that car is stalling while driving but i am no pretty sure about the year you can go and ask to the dealer ship

Could be a number of things ranging from a bad ignition switch contact assembly to a faulty main relay to contaminated fuel.

We need a LOT more information before we can even begin to narrow it down. Did the Check Engine Light illuminate before the car shut down? Are there any Diagnostic Trouble Codes stored in the computer? I know you said that all maintenance is up to date, but have the spark plugs been replaced yet (Honda recommended service interval is 105,000mi)?

If you aren't particularly knowledgeable about cars at this point, it would probably be best left to a professional. As long as the problem occurs often enough that they can replicate it, they should be able to determine the proper repair.

Had the same type of problem some years back with my (at that time) Civic. It would shut down for no apparent reason quite erratically. Long and short of it....An oil pressure switch that senses oil pressure or lack thereof, shuts down the engine (turns off the ignition) Anyhow, my problem with "shuts off by itself" Why? Well no oil pressure=fried engine.Unless of course you shut down then engine (kill the ignition)

my car 03 Honda Accord has the same problem; when i drive the Green light for D disappears for 3 seconds & the check engine light trys to appear but just Blink & go away. & loose power, & all the lights on the dashboard start coming on & the radio lose power & then the car starts by itself again. & sometimes I shut off & i have to started. Until now give me the code p0685 ECM/PCM power relay. & I dont what step to take now to fix it cuz it could be a lot causes.
