2003 2.4 accord surging, code p02279
Hello,
I have researched this topic but still haven't been able to resolve my problem. I have a 02 accord coupe that was hit lightly in the front. It needed a hood, rad, fans, condenser and upper tie bar. That's all done, I've refilled the coolant and tried to get all the air out of the system. I've done the idle relearn process many times, but I still get the surging idle, the p2279 code and two others for high and low idle.
I took off the throttle body and tried removing the IAC, but the screws are galded into the throttle body, so I tried cleaning it as best as I could.
I've checked for vacuum leaks and can't see anything obvious.
Me and a master ase certified mechanic are stumped. Any ideas for things to check? I can get a used throttle body for $65. Should I try that next?

I know it's going over some stuff you already did:
-PCV valve and hose
-throttlebody
-intake manifold
-brake booster hose
-camshaft timing
EDIT: The IAC will be riveted in- and you can't get just the OEM IAC. You have to drill out the rivets and replace it with an aftermarket one. They're about $80 here: http://www.rockauto.com/
Also, my friend said he's had control modules go out in a "minor" wreck before.
