I just bought a 98 Accord LX with an Automatic transmission with 306K on the car. The previous owners took very good care of the care and it is in excellent shape. All the schedule maintenance has been done on time and records were kept. My question is there anything that should be done with a car that has reached this mileage and is not considered scheduled maintenance. IE; should the transmission filter be changed, should fuel system be flushed etc. Or are there different additives that should be considered? The car is reported to burn a "little" oil ~ 1 quart between oil changes) every 4500 miles for the previous owners. car drives great, shifts a little hard into second gear.

306k thats good mileage, I once had a civic that went to 206k and then I sold it. I am not an expert on this but I guess the maintenance is scheduled by the manual is for like 90k so you repeat it. Like if you are supposed to change the coolant at 60k, you do it at 120k, 180k, ...
so you do the oil change and rotoation every 5k or some people do it earlier for higher mileage.
Change the air filter, cabin filter, every 30k.
Drain refill the AT fluid every 15k or 30k.
Spark plugs every 30k or later depending on the type of plugs.
Timing belt every 90k.

I would say check your handbook and just keep repeating it at the intervals.

You will have to look at other items like hoses, wires, that may be wearing off.

I also add lucas fuel treatment every 5k. Clean throttle body .
