I noticed that Honda offers an optiona 19" x 8" width, 5x114.3 bolt pattern with a +55 offset using a 245/40R 19 tire as an option for the 2008 Coupe. Will these also fit on the 2008 Accord Sedan? Will there be any problems or recalibration of the speedometer or navi system? What if the rim I am looking at only comes in a +40 offset? Just makeing sure there are no issues before making the final decision.

The wheels Honda sells are pretty light weight (alloy). I don't know if the coupe rim will fit the sedan or not, but consider this. If the wheels you are thinking about are very heavy (big chrome wheels), they could hurt your gas mileage, and performance, among other things.

I'm actually considering the same exact thing. I have the gray color 08 Accord sedan and those 19"s would look great on my car. I'm checking the overall diameter and wheelwell clearance. I really want to get those on there in a combo with the Eibach Pro Kit springs. That may pose another problem with clearance though. I may try to head back down to the dealership to measure the wheelwells on a coupe to try to find an obvious difference. I asked the parts manager and, of course, he had NO idea.

they will fit...coupe hfp rims that is.... they are puttin those wheels on 7th gen accords...... yeah im lookin to get some 19x8.5 with a 45/48mm offset.. now that i read this thread im kinda worried now.... i went on tirerack.com and entered my 08 sedan and picked out some ramdom wheels and read the specs on the wheels and it said 45/48 (cant remember) offset... good luck! keep us posted or ill keep yall posted if my rims come in....

I think it would just have a longer wheelbase but other than that you should be able to fit them on there. I just bought a 08 Coupe and I think they should be pretty much the same considering the wheelwell size.
