100k mile mark

what happen when a car has over 100k mile? what do i need to change? how much will it cost? what type of parts? btw im a newb.

What car are you talking about? 4 cylinder or 6? What maintenance has been done to this point? When were the air filters (cabin/engine) last changed? Has the brake fluid been changed at all? What condition are the brake pads in? Has the coolant been changed? Transmission fluid?
