06 accord 3.0 vtec sporatic engine miss
 

Engine has a sporatic engine miss and showing problem code misfire #5 and sometimes #6, random misfire. I have changed plugs, coils, injectors, did compression check (220-230) to no avail. any ideas?::|:|

How about valve lash ?
how many miles on engine ?
Also what kind of miss is it, does engine still pull strong , or is it a random misses, does load affect it.
When you pulled 5 an 6 spark plugs did they look ok like others .

If memory serves, that engine has individual EGR holes in each intake runner instead of just dumping in the plenum. Remove the plate on top of the plenum and look for partially clogged EGR passages/holes. Be sure to clean the passages in that plate as well. Takes 5 minutes. With hand tools, 10 minutes.
