06-07 Accord EX-L with 4 cyl and NO sunroof????
I am in the market for an '06 or '07 Accord. I have my sights set on a 4 cyl 5 speed model, and I do NOT want a sunroof. I am 6'7" tall, and the sunroof equipped cars have about an 1.5" less headroom than non sunroof cars.
However, my wife HATES cloth seats and insists that you can find an '06 or '07 with a 4 cylinder, leather and NO sunroof. You know, kinda like you can order Toyota options ala-cart (think Camrys with leather seats and plastic hubcaps). However, according to Honda's own website, the only way to get leather is to get an EX-L, all of which have sunroofs. And I think only V6 models were sold in EX-L trim, but I could be wrong. She is still insistant; from what I can tell, if an EX-L 4 cylinder no sunroof Accord exists for the '06/'07 model year, it must be a frankenstein car that is to be avoided like the plague.
Anyway, IMO, an SE seems to be the best fit for me.

Well, you wont find a SE with leather interior sorry to tell u, unless its a v6 , but u can find an se for very cheap and just buy leather interior , or just go for a 2010 lx and ask for leather interior , if ur heart is set on a 06-07 SE w/leather you'll be looking for a long time...g/l

As mentioned above, your only options with an '06-07 Accord are to either 1) live with the sunroof and keep your wife happy, 2) live with your wife's complaints and enjoy additional headroom, or 3) buy an LX or SE and install one of those crappy aftermarket leather upholstery kits or source a set of OEM EX-L/EX V6 leather seats - and armrest, door panels, steering wheel if desired - from a salvage yard (you may have to swap side airbag units). Option 3 will require the most money and effort, but will keep everyone happy.
Frankly I despise leather so I'd get the SE and tell the wife to deal with it.
