This is my brother's car, recently there has been an issue with the ignition where it has trouble turning over but it would catch eventually. Today it finally failed and stopped turning over. I'm wondering if there is a TSB for the ignition or not. It is cranking so I would assume there's spark, air is there, fuel is in there (my brother told me hes been recently filling with 87.) I'm thinking it has to do with the ignition more (even after i filled with 91 it had some issue) but as soon as the car comes home ill be changing out the spark plugs along with the oil. I'll also be testing batter/alternator so those will be out of the way.

does anyone have any insight for these specific cars?

Summary:
ON CERTAIN VEHICLES, A COIL WIRE INSIDE THE FUEL PUMP RELAY MAY BREAK, CAUSING THE FUEL PUMP TO LOSE POWER. IF THE FUEL PUMP BECOMES INOPERATIVE, THE ENGINE MAY NOT START.

Consequence:
IF THE FUEL PUMP LOSES POWER WHILE DRIVING, THE ENGINE COULD STALL WITHOUT WARNING, AND A CRASH COULD OCCUR.

Remedy:
DEALERS WILL INSPECT AND REPLACE THE FUEL PUMP RELAY FREE OF CHARGE. THE RECALL BEGAN ON APRIL 2, 2007. OWNERS MAY CONTACT HONDA AT 1-800-999-1009.

There is a recall for this in the US. I have attached it. Just for anyone else having this problem...
