04 accord V6 tranny whine!!
Hi, I would like an idea on what might be the problem with my car.
When I start it up in the morning, It makes a loud whining noise coming from the transmission area. When I put it in reverse, or in drive it gets quieter. When the car warms up, it would slip out of gear and wont drive. Also when moving gear selector from d4 (drive)
back to park, it makes a noise like if the car was still rolling, with the vehicle fully stopped.
I want to replace the torque converter, but I would like more opinions about this problem.
