04 Accord DX-Door Lock Problem/Cigarette Lighter/Window
New to the forum....Thank you in advance for the help!
Situation #1:
My 2004 Honda Accord DX driver side door does not work with the key. The key goes all the way in the key whole but does not turn.
What is the best solution to this problem?
Situation #2
A penny got stuck in my cigarette lighter opening and now none of my electrical attachments do not get any juice from this outlet. Is it a fuse?
Situation #3
My driver side window does not go up "correctly". It usually slides out of the pocket so i have to press against it to keep it in the groove. What is a good solution
I appreciate any and all guidance in resolving these issues.

Re: 04 Accord DX-Door Lock Problem/Cigarette Lighter/Window
situation#1
sounds to me theat one of the tumblers in the key cylinder are damaged and causing the problem. the fix is repalce the lock cylinder and have it recoded to your orginal key by a honda dealer
situation#2
remove the penny and repalce the blown fuse it should be fuse #15 or 18 in the underdash fuse box on the driver side. it should be a 15 amp fuse
situation#3
remove the door panel and inspect the window tracks and the rubber run channel. if all is good replace thre window regulator/motor assembly and that should take care of it. i usually replace the run channel and regulator/motor assembly as a pair.
good luck!! hope this helps you.
oh and by the way welcome to h-t
