Hi im looking to find a way to fix my CD changer. The in dash changer is unresponsive and the button also doesn't work. I wanted to put a ipod hookup to the radio but noticed that if the button is unresponsive then it wouldn't make any sense installing the ipod kit. Is there any way to fix this thanks. Thank You

My CD changer died and was replaced after warranty by my dealer as there was a service bulletin/advisory about the failure rates on them. The dealer said I'd get my 6 CDs back from Honda, but Honda never sent them back, and the dealer later denied saying that. Sigh. My advice: do some googling, trying to document the problem and see if you can get a dealer to replace the CD Changer.

When you say button, do you mean eject? Or the CD/AUX switch button?

It does seem like all of the ipod kits require the pressing the CD/AUX button until CD or CD-C is displayed

Get a new one.

My friend Car CD player broke within a few years. Honda wanted $500 just to repair it plus the service work. You can go to any store selling car CD players and the total cost way less and brand new player.
