03 EX Grinding from Front of Car
Hey all, my 03 accord ex has begun making a grinding/rattling metal noise with what seems like every rotation of the tires when I'm driving. When I break, the noise intensifies, but when I'm cruising, regardless of speed, the grinding/scratching type noise is still there. The grinding intervals pick up in speed as the car picks up in speed.
I got my catalytic converter shields clamped down 6 months ago. Any ideas if its the cat converters or something else? I've heard something about warping in the 03 accords that has similar sounds but I'm unsure. Really appreciate the help!

It's either a bad wheel bearing, or your brake pads are getting really low. Jack up the front of the car, and grab the wheel. If there is a lot of play, than it is possibly your wheel bearings. Check how much material is left on your brake pads too.

How old are your brake pads? Just checking the outside pad is not good enough. The inside pad will always wear faster than the outer pad (especially if the calliper is sticking). You need to take the bottom calliper bolt out, and flip it up, to really see the inside pad.
