hi all,

I have 03 arrord 4dr Lx 4 cyl, auto with 140k milies.
I shorted O2 sensor wires, while trying to remove exhaust cover which fell off while on the highway... engine was on.

now my check engine, battery and ABS lights are on. Cruise control doesn't work. car drove home (20 miles) ok.

i inspected sensor wired and they are not short anymore. i reset the ECU. problem is still there.

I'm wondering if O2 sensor shares the fuse with the other controls. but I'm not sure which fuse it would be -- visually everythin looks ok.

any ideas what i should do, before taking in to the dealer for $99 diagnostic...

Check fuse 23 and fuse 4 in the under dash fuse box.

4 and 23 are good. I hope o2 sensor doesn't go directly into ECU? when i shorted wires -- it could of been any of the 4 with each other or with ground if it makes any difference.

Double check all the fuses in all 3 fuse boxes. You're sure to find a blown one.
