Out of all the cars I've driven I've really never seen a cars brakes preform so poorly. They heart up way to fast, need replacing way to often and it's never usually just a pad swap from what I hear. So what's a guy do, on a budget with kids, but you feel like you just nee something safer.

I've searched around but haven't found
much. I'm thinking break swap from a tl or maybe newer accord or element. Tires will help, but the main thing here is size and heat. Genuine honda brake parts suck! What do you guys think?

switching brake pads to Hawk HPS was enough to fix the crappy brakes for me

i4 auto 2003. I always ran a hawk pad in my subaru with good results. I was hoping I could just do a bigger brake swap first though, maybe something from a to or better. Anyone had any luck?
