Major System & Safety Failures 2017 Accord Hybrid 43k mi
Hi All,
My parents are experiencing major problems with their 2017 Accord Hybrid, 43k miles. The vehicle has had major systems failures that suddenly cause brakes, electrical systems, etc to be non-responsive. It occurred a few times while in traffic/stopped, but today occurred twice at highway speeds (55mph) which essentially disabled the brakes and car had to be coasted to a stop and restarted. It is currently at Honda. Please see photo of dash alerts.

It is cycling thru these messages:
—Brake System Problem
—Adaptive Cruise Control Problem
—Road Departure Mitigation System Problem
—Collision Mitigation System Problem
Mechanically, what could possibly be causing such major problems with a 2017 model vehicle?
If this were your vehicle, how would you handle this situation with dealer/Honda given the safety issues?
Any advice is sincerely appreciated.
Thank you

The dealer will probably read the trouble code(s), which may help narrow down possible area(s) of fault. It may be related to the CVT or anything else...
